This project consisted of a $109M revival of the historic Rosenwald Courts in the Bronzeville neighborhood. The five-story building takes up an entire city block along 47th street, and the redesigned complex is condensed to 239 senior and family apartments, with five new elevators, large lobby entrances, a fully furnished community room, fitness center, 40,000 square feet of retail and office space, while retaining nearly all of the existing historic structure.
